I’m better. — Okay na ako.

I’m about the same. — Ganoon pa rin ‘yong nararamdaman ko.

Worse. — Mas masama yung loob ko.

I’m having a hard day. — Nahihirapan ako ngayon.

I’m excited — Natutuwa ako.

I’m grumpy — Mainit ang ulo ko.

I’m happy — Masaya ako.

I’m mad — Galit ako.

I’m nervous — Kinakabahan ako.

I’m stressed — Naiistres ako.

I’m scared — Takot ako.

I’m frustrated — Inis na inis ako.

It can be really frustrating when it doesn’t work out the way we thought it would. — Alam kong nakakainis kapag hindi nasusunod ‘yong gusto natin.

Listen to me — Makinig ka sa’kin.

What happened? — Anong nangyari?

I couldn’t hear you. — Hindi kita narinig.

Can you please repeat that? — Puwedeng pakulit?

That really scared you, huh! Would you like a hug? — Nakakatakot, ‘no? Gusto mo bang yakapin kita?

That was disappointing. — Nakakalungkot naman.

Do you want to talk about it? — Gusto mo bang pag-usapan?

I’m ready to listen whenever you feel like talking. — Kapag gusto mo ng mag-usap, nandito lang ako para makinig.

That is a tough problem. — Mahirap na problema ‘yan.

I’m too angry right now and need to cool down. — Kailangan ko munang magpalipas ng galit.

Let’s talk in a little bit. — Mag-usap tayo mamaya.

It’s okay to feel mad — Okay lang na magalit ka.

I can see this is hard for you. — Alam kong mahirap para sa’yo

Take a deep breath, then tell me what happened. — Hinga ka ng malalim, tapos ikuwento mo sa’kin kung anong nangyari.

I’m here for you. — Nandito ako para sa’yo.

You were looking forward to it so much. — Inasahan mo talaga ‘yan.

Do you need some help? — Kailangan mo ba ng tulong?

Would you like to be my little helper? — Gusto mo ba akong tulungan?

I see you are working hard on that. — Alam kong pinaghirapan mo ‘yan.

You worked really hard on that! — Talagang pinaghirapan mo ‘yan!

I see you are taking your time and being careful. — Alam kong hindi ka nagmamadali at saka nag-iingat ka.

You put a lot of effort in to that. — Pinagsikapan mo ‘yan.

I’m proud of you! — Pinagmamalaki kita!

You must be so proud of yourself! — Siguradong proud ka sa sarili mo!

Good job! — Galing!

That’s good! — Mabuti naman!

What a great observation! — Ang galing mo naman!

You can do it. — Kaya mo ‘yan.

I knew you could do it. — Alam kong kaya mo ‘yan.

Are you having fun? Nalilibang ka ba?

Are you having fun (+2) Nalilibang ba kayo?

Did you have fun? Nalibang ka ba?

I’m having so much fun with you. — Aliw na aliw akong kasama ka

That was funny! — Nakakatawa naman!

You fell down. — Nahulog ka.

Where does it hurt? — Saan masakit?

Would you like a bandaid / ice / medicine? — Gusto mo ba ng band-aid?

Would you like ice? — Gusto mo ba ng yelo?

Would you like a medicine? — Gusto mo ba ng gamot?

Let’s clean your boo-boo first. — Linisin muna natin ‘yong sugat mo.

Sorry. I forgot. — Pasensiya na. Nakalimutan ko.

Will you forgive me? — Puwede mo ba akong patawarin?

You found a way to cheer him/her up when she was crying! — Umiiyak siya pero napangiti mo!
