In honor of Christmas, we have created a printable craft for you and your child to make. It is a mini parol to draw and write some of your favorite Christmas traditions on. The parol can be decorated and hung as a reminder of the special traditions, whether it be food, activities, games, songs, places that you share with your loved ones on Christmas.
What you’ll need:
- Fil-Am Learner’s Filipino Christmas Traditions Parol printable (It can be printed on cardstock for durability OR you can glue it on cardboard or popsicle sticks)
- Writing & Coloring tools (markers, crayons, colored pencils)
- Hole puncher
- Glue (optional)
- Glitter (optional)
Have fun with it and add your own twist. This is an enjoyable craft to do while communicating special memories and traditions as a family.
Need some inspiration? We put together a blog round-up of several Filipinos and Filipino-Americans who shared their Christmas traditions with you. Learn about their traditions here.
We hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your loved ones!
